Aghios
Sostis
is a
small family resort between Keri Lake and Laganas. As well as having a
number of supermarkets and clothes shops, the resort has many excellent
tavernas, often with verandas on the waterfront - perfect for al-fresco
dining after a hard day's sunbathing on the narrow but sandy beach.

Alykes and Alykanas
are two small interconnected family resorts on the Northeast coast.
Twenty kilometres from Zakynthos Town,
they are separated by a narrow river. The resorts are ideal for
families – many of whom return every summer and offer a good variety of
tavernas and bars. Alykes is named after the salt pans which are located
in the area and both offer a large and sandy beach where you can always
find a quiet space to relax and enjoy the sun.

Argassi
was the first resort to be developed on the island and offers a wide
range of hotels, restaurants and shops. This resort is popular with
families and couples alike, attracted by its full range of facilities,
including a miniature road-train with regular services into Zakynthos
Town - only five minutes away. The beach in Argassi is very narrow but all hotels have swimming pools and many
have seaviews. However, Argassi is only a short drive from Vassilikos
where the best beaches on the island are situated.

Gerakas
is a quiet unspoilt corner of Zakynthos with a gorgeous beach, a couple
of tavernas and undoubtedly an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Accommodation is very limited, just some small cottages and villas for
those looking for real tranquillity. This area is carefully protected
as it is one of the main nesting grounds for the endangered
Caretta-Caretta loggerhead turtles. more

Kalamaki
is a good-sized family resort - many of whom are returnees, and boasts
seven kilometres of long sandy beach, the largest on the island.
Kalamaki’s hotels are mostly newly built and therefore offer the most
up-to-date facilities. It features a long and varied parade of shops and
restaurants and for a really lively evening is only about three
kilometres from the non-stop nightspot of Laganas.

Keri/Keri Lake
is a small unspoilt resort in one of the prettiest areas of Zakynthos.
The diminutive fishing harbour and a real Greek feel to Keri make it an
especially unique area of the island. Surrounded stunning sea caves,
olive groves and fruit trees, visitors here definitely feel they are in
authentic Greece. The resort offers good quality accommodation, has a few
tavernas, ouzeries, a bakery, a supermarket and without doubt, peace and
quiet. more info |

Laganas:
A resort for the young or the young at heart. Whilst we recommend the
centre of Laganas only for young holidaymakers, we offer properties
located on the outskirts of the town in picturesque, almost rural-like
areas away from the noise and partying. The beach is long and sandy and
the bay is a major nesting ground for the loggerhead turtles.

Vassilikos
is a
wonderfully unspoilt area, stretching from Argassi to Gerakas. The area,
set on a winding coastal road with gorgeous views of the sea and the

Porto Zoro, Plaka Beach,
St Nicholas Beach, Kaminia Beach, Dafni Beach and many others.
Definitely a route to drive along at least once.

Zakynthos Town
is the
picturesque port capital of the island. The town is ideal for shopping –
its main retail area is paved allowing visitors to stroll along and
browse. It’s also a great place to enjoy a drink or a meal whilst
watching the world go by in its broad squares or waterfront overlooking
the big ships in the harbour. Above the town in Bohali there is an area with stunning views of the Town and island
and even better ice creams. more info |
